Richard Ellis Sligh (born August 18, 1944) was an American football player who was drafted to the Oakland Raiders in the tenth round of the 1967 NFL Draft as a defensive tackle. During his time in the league he played in a total of eight professional games. At seven feet tall he is the tallest person to have ever played professional American football and the only player to reach seven foot tall.
