Joel Steed (born February 17, 1969 in Frankfurt, Germany) is a former American football nose tackle who played eight seasons for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He went to the University of Colorado at Boulder. Steed was an important and often underappreciated part of the Steeler's defense during their 1995 season, at the end of which they reached Super Bowl XXX.
