"Easy Ed" Macauley dies at 83 (Yahoo! Sports)
Ed Macauley, who was voted into the Basketball Hall of Fame after leading St. Louis University to the 1948 NIT title and then playing for 10 years in the NBA, has died. He was 83. Macauley died Tuesday, but it wasn't announced until Wednesday by the university.
